So although I am writing this as a reflection of yesterday, I thought it would be good to keep the days separate for our memory. This is the day that Olivia was given the go-ahead to begin to raise her head. After much begging to do so on day 1 and 2, she has now found comfort in her horizontal position and has decided she would rather not begin the process. With some coaxing from the nurse and family nearby to cheer her on though, she began her assent. Here we are at 10 degrees...
No problem...a little more...the gradual pace is to detect a possible headache...
No pain...so we try some more...
Now at this angle, she can even feed herself...
Here we are working on hanging her feet over the edge...she's not so sure about this...
But she did it! And she is completely wireless!Yay Olivia!!!
