This morning Olivia walked to the bathroom on her own two feet! She was a bit wobbly...but everything seems to be working again. Phew!
Here she is sitting in a normal chair...
After breakfast we put her dress on and walked down the hall to check out some toys that we've heard about...
Pretty cool...
Then we played a game of air hockey...
The staff decided that if Olivia can walk down the hall to play air hockey...it's time for her to go home. Olivia didn't want to leave. She told me that she wants to live at the hospital. (This may have something to do with the 15 people daily telling her how cute she is and giving her everything she wants at the touch of a button.) I told her that they don't let us live there, but that they only let us come for sleepovers when we have surgery. I told her that we would be back again for another surgery soon and she thought that sounded great. I guess that says a lot for Gillett Children's Hospital!Now we are home!!! There's no place like home...
It's so great to see her up and about! Glad everything went well!
